Truwest Silver Suede is our Sr. Stallion at this time. A Morgan, he is a son of S Bar B Pierre Noire and Truwest Adobe Rose. We have the best of two breeding programs, The Blankenship Morgans, Truwest, and the Cross Ranch of Dubois. Suede has the disposition we demand in a breeding stallion, the size that is necessary in these Western Working Morgans and as a special surprise, the dun gene. He is a grullo, and for those of you who wonder what that is, it is a mouse grey color, the result of the dun gene acting on a black horse. Suede stands 15.3 hands and is massive. His bone is big and thick. His disposition is absolutely fabulous. He also carries the cream gene and gives some wonderful colored babies.

RED is one amazing boy in so many way. He is, at this time, the only ee Chestnut Shire stallion standing at stud in North America. He is registered with the International Drum Horse Association. The only reason he is not registered with The American Shire Horse Association is Red is 1/18 Clydesdale. They do not allow stallions in the breed up program like do the geldings and mares.

Red is the old style heavy wide build and is expected to reach 17.2 plus. Red is very sweet and easy to handle. He is tested negative for PSSM1. Red has great conformation and movement with a very nice head. He is Homozygous chestnut/sorrel so will always pass on one red gene and is also Homozygous from the flaxen gene so will always pass on one flaxen gene.
